Australia Test Captain Pat Cummins joined Kolkata Knight Riders Squad for the IPL 2022 ahead of their clash with Punjab Kings on April 1. Although we doubt he will be a part of the playing eleven against Pujab Kings but he joing the side is a plus for KKR. Kolkata Knight Riders has played two matches in this season, winning the first match against CSK and losing the second against RCB in a thrilling encounter.

Pat Cummins will provide much needed stability in the KKR lineup. He is the No. 1 ranked test bowler at the moment, so his bowling undoubtedly will be the key for the KKR this season.

He is handy with the bat too in the lower order, that will a plus. In the last match againt RCB in a low scoring match, no batter could spend some time on the wicket. Shreyas also need to have his game up as for as bowling changes are concerned. One bad over is all, that takes in the IPL to turn the match on its head.

Pat Cummins with Tim Southee and rejuvenated Umesh yadav will be a force to reckon with in the coming matches.
