Jasprit Bumrah (5/10)

Jasprit Bumrah was instrumental in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. He took 3 wickets in the 18th over. Mumbai Indians lost the match by 52 runs. MI were already out of the play off race but his performance was the memorable one. His performance of 5/10 was best by any bowler in IPL 2022. His all 5 wickets came on short-pitch deliveries. He bowled 18 dot balls in his 4 overs spell.

Wanindu Hasaranga (5/18)

This bowler from Sri Lanka impressed one and all with his spin bowling in IPL 2022 while playing for RCB. He took 26 wickets in 16 matches at an average of 15.54 and was one of the main architects of RCB campaign this year. In the match against SRH, he ran though the lineup and took 5 for 18 in four overs. Royal Challengers Bangalore recorded a 67-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Umran Malik (5/25)

Young SRH pacer was sensational in the IPL 2022. He won 12th consecutive fastest delivery award. He bowled above 150 KPH consistently. He flattered Saha

with a toe-crushing yorker. He took 5-25 against GT.

Gujarat Titans won the match but a new fast bowler was born. He was rewarded well for his performances in the IPL and was named in the Indian team for T20I series against South Africa which starts from June 9, 2022.

Yuzvendra Chahal (5/40)

Chahal was the leading wicket taker in IPL 2022 with 27 wickets. His performance in the second half of the IPL was not that great but his first half performance was breath taking. He took 5-40 in the match against KKR. He performed really well for RR this season .

Andre Russell (4/5)

In a rather disappointing seasons for KKR, Russell was among few players who performed with the bat and ball both for them. He took 4 wickets for 5 runs against GT. What was interesting is, he only bowled one over in the match and took 4 wickets. He became the first bowler in the IPL history to do so.
